Thank you. Sometimes I would take it with me but there may not be internet, so as long as I can get and record Freeview then that is perfect. Of course at home I will take advantage of all the other services.
Are there any good copy, or 'all in one' remote controls for the HDR-2000T? I've had three of the Humax ones. I have also cleaned them. I would like something new. Not too expensive though. Thanks
Yes, I might have problem with the remotes. I believe you can change the code, problem buying a second one is they are no longer made, otherwise I would. Not keen on second hand. I may go down the Manhattan route for the second one as the Aura is quite a bit more expensive.
Thank you, I'll check it out. Edit.... I just looked on Amazon & many bad reviews, at £250-00 upwards I'll wait, unless there is another better make. It's a shame as I have used Humax when they were satellite boxes & they were very good back then.
I have the HDR2000T, it is just about the most perfect recorder made. Quick & easy.
I also have the FVP 4000T, possibly the worst recorder made. Slow & slower, hard to do simple things & cluncky.
My HDR2000T was bought when they came out, I may even have been the first person on here to have...
Thanks for taking the time to answer my couple of questions x 2. I guess I need to take a look in a shop. If I can't just push one button on the remote for skip, I doubt I will buy one.
I was thinking of buying one of the FVP-5000T but I have read there is no dedicated skip button. Is that so? I believe you have to jump through hoops to find it. If so, can I use the old remote for my HDR-2000T to skip, or buy a another copy remote with this function on? I have a number of...
I have to say this is the poorest remote control I have ever used. The first one went wrong & I got a replacement just before the two year guarantee ran out. Now some 18 months later the second one has the same problem with some buttons not working. I have had many, many remote controls since...
That icon is not on the HDR2000T. I think the AD icon is similar, but that does not change the soundtrack. I know some players will do it, but it looks like the HDR2000T doesn't, unless anyone knows different.
