Hi, Yes custom firmware. Just trying Ex2FSD on PC which is a volume manager, which supports Ext2 and Ext3. I can replicate the partitions exactly as the original faulty drive and format Ext3 ?

Might have been ,Novatech. The drives are the same age as the Humax boxes. Just never used apart from some PC file storage. looking at the smart data generated from the PC, they have both had aound 11 power ons, with 63 hrs.

I have just fixed it,removing the wireless dongle and using Lan cable instead allowed me to get back in. Turning on the service again has resumed the browser connection access from wireless.

I stupidly turned of the FTP service on the webif panel :mad:, it is obvious now that my previous way to the webif by typing in the IP address is not going to work. Could someone advise me the best way to re-enable this or do I need to reset or reload the firmware. Connection is/was wireless Thanks

Yes I have tried the standby method described after any process has been completed. When the portal is open, I can see the options in the highlighted colours, I select one by choosing the colour but that's all it will do, I am unable to move to any further selection on any of the colours, the...

Funny enough I just found it at the same time as your post, thanks. I have tried removing and reloading, shutting down in between but still cannot select any options. Any ideas ? I should add that New Portal works fine.

Not been here for a while now, decided to upgrade to customised firmware CF3.0 from 1.03.12, I have the same issue as above but require info please on how to uninstall the existing portal and load the new one please, I guess its via the web interface again ?

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but the three digit remote comtrol produce the screen icon when input is changed, the four digit ones dont ! If anyone has a way of letting humax know ? Stephen This is with the april beta firmware

i know what you mean, my old matsui did the same without having to go into the media structure. Steve

just basically select the original file, the on the dts tab on the right select"covert to dolby digital", then start, it makes a new file thats dolby 5.1 instead of the dts

i rather think its going to take humax another 6 to 8 months to do anything more with the firmware on this model, my feeling is they are pulling their resources on a new model for release.

most of the ones i try have dts sound tracks which are not supported, i run them through popcorn audio converter which changes them to 5.1 dolby

it auto dims after 3 mins, until you press a buton again.
